Can You Build A Cheap Website?

Just like all our clients, George asked us if we can knock up a “Cheap” website! Well, the short answer is “yes” we can, but why not get your six year old kid / grandkid to do it instead.

These days there’s so much cheap software and free web templates available, that anyone can “knock up” a website. Just have a quick surf and see for yourself.

What does a Visitor See on Your Website?

In the first 15-30 seconds a visitor to the site will decide whether there is anything useful or not for them

When I look at the website, first impressions:

1) Does it look professional
2) What’s there for me? I have no idea what “YXYX Consultants” is or does
2) There is no “Headline” there’s no “Call to action”
3) For visitors that already know about the company, it appears to be a useful company “brochure”

It’s a question that is asked all the time. Why do you need a website when you are a small business with local clients.

The answer is you don’t need a website! You don’t need a telephone, or a contact address, or a shop front. You can operate without any of these things …. maybe!
